Advancing One Health
The Advancing One Health Working Group will partner with policymakers, industry, and farming communities to improve the inter-connected health of wildlife, livestock, and humans. From diseases that are transmitted between animals and humans to shared susceptibility to environmental stresses, human health is coupled to the health of animals and ecosystems. In collaboration with Cornell's Master of Public Health program, this working group is focused on transdisciplinary approaches for the optimal health of people, animals, and the environment through geographically appropriate land-use planning, ocean-use planning, environmental conservation, and public health policy creation and implementation.
