Algal Bloom off the Coast of Texas

The Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future (ACSF) announces the 2014 cycle of its Academic Venture Fund (AVF).  This program is internal to Cornell and is designed to stimulate new, original, multidisciplinary research at Cornell in sustainability, emphasizing work that has the potential to involve external partners such as industry, government, foundations, and other non-governmental organizations. Fifty-four projects have been funded since 2008. We seek proposals from Cornell faculty across all colleges and schools, encompassing all disciplines contributing to sustainability. 

  • Proposers should read our official Request for Proposals for specifics on applying for an AVF award
  • Letters of Intent are due by COB February 24, 2014
  • Question & Answer Sessions for proposers have been scheduled.

  • Full proposals will be due March 24, 2014.
