The Atkinson Center’s annual poster pitch competition was won by Human Ecology Professor Tasha Lewis, who described her research on recycling clothing fibers in 50 seconds and had a compelling poster to match, impressing the voting audience of Cornell Trustee Council members, ACSF faculty, and friends.  Todd Glass '88, chair of the Council Interest Group for Sustainability, joined Frank DiSalvo to emcee the competition.

The following teams were presented with awards:

First Place - Changing the Climate on Sustainable Fashion:
Equipment and Process Development for Management of Post-Consumer Textile Waste

Faculty: Tasha Lewis, Anil Netravali, & Huiju Park (all from Fiber Science and Apparel Design)
Students: Ariana Levitt, Vanessa Sanchez, Jianan Su, & Helen Trejo
