John McKain

John McKain has led communications and marketing efforts at Cornell University for 12 years. Between 2006 and 2011, he developed and managed fundraising efforts in the Division of Alumni Affairs and Development before serving as Assistant Dean for Communications at the College of Human Ecology from 2011-2015 and then Associate Vice President for Communications until October 2018. His tenure at Cornell was preceded by fifteen years in Washington, DC as a media and communications strategist focused on a range of issues including education, global population, sustainability, and healthcare.
