Allison M. Chatrchyan

Allison M. Chatrchyan is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Cornell University. Her work focuses on the interface between social, environmental, and agricultural systems. Dr. Chatrchyan facilitates interdisciplinary research and extension teams that are developing resources and tools for climate change adaptation and mitigation, including the Cornell Climate Smart Farming Program and the Cornell Climate Stewards Program. She is leading a collaborative project for Cornell to develop and provide climate change training with the NY Power Authority. Dr. Chatrchyan is co-chair of the Agriculture chapter on the NYSERDA Climate Impacts Assessment, and is a Party Delegate for the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture at COP26. She teaches two climate change capstone courses for Cornell’s Environment & Sustainability Program, including the Global Climate Change Science and Policy course with Dr. Natalie Mahowald
