Paul Atkinson
Paul Atkinson is the current chair of the Cornell Atkinson Advisory Council. He manages equity investments for a family office based in Princeton, New Jersey, and is a trustee of the Atkinson family’s charitable foundation. He is also a member of the New Hope Borough Planning Commission. Until recently, he was president of the New Hope–Solebury Education Fund, an organization that raises money to encourage and fund innovative teacher-developed grants.
From 1997 to 2003, Paul worked for Brown Brothers Harriman, a private bank based in New York City. At Brown Brothers, he performed equity research, beginning as a generalist junior analyst, then became an analyst following real estate–related equities. He ultimately served as a senior analyst responsible for investments in the technology sector.
Paul is a Cornell graduate in operations research and industrial engineering (BS ’92) and earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from Columbia University in 1997. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Phi Kappa Phi, and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
Atkinson lives in New Hope, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children.
