About Climate COP27

The 27th session of the UN Climate Conference of the Parties (COP) took place from November 6-18, 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. First held in Berlin in 1995, the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference serves as the meeting of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The Parties assess global progress in addressing climate change and continue negotiations to work out details for implementation of the Paris Agreement.
