The Advancing One Health Working Group focuses on transdisciplinary approaches for the optimal health of people, animals, and the environment through geographically appropriate land and ocean-use planning, environmental conservation, and public health policy creation and implementation. From diseases transmitted between animals and humans to shared susceptibility to environmental stresses, human health is linked to the health of animals and ecosystems.
In collaboration with Cornell's Master of Public Health program, this working group partners with policymakers, industry, and farming communities to improve wildlife, livestock, and humans' inter-connected health.
